This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made on youlumistore.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1) Return window

We accept return requests within 15 days from the delivery date (based on carrier tracking). If 15 days have passed since delivery, we may not be able to offer a return, refund, or exchange.

2) Return eligibility (condition requirements)

To be eligible for a non-defect return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition as received (unused, uninstalled, and not worn),
  • In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and included items,
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number/receipt).

3) Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund, unless defective or damaged on arrival:

  • Items marked “Final Sale” or clearance items (if applicable)
  • Gift cards and digital products (if applicable)
  • Hygiene-related or wearable products that have been opened/used (e.g., masks/caps or other wearable items), for health and safety reasons
  • Products with missing parts, heavy wear, misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications

4) How to start a return (Return Authorization required)

To start a return, email us at sales@youlumi.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • Product name/model
  • Reason for return
  • Photos/videos (required for damaged/defective/wrong items)

If your return is approved, we will send return instructions and a Return Authorization (RMA). Items sent back without prior approval and a confirmed return address will not be accepted.

5) Damaged, defective, or wrong item

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We may request photos/videos to evaluate the issue.

If confirmed as our responsibility (DOA/defect on arrival/wrong item), we will offer an appropriate solution such as replacement, parts, or refund depending on the case. In these cases, we will cover reasonable return shipping (and provide a return label where available/feasible).

6) Return locations (US warehouse vs. China fulfillment)

We fulfill orders from different locations depending on inventory availability. Your return address will be provided after your return request is approved and may be located in the United States (for U.S.-fulfilled orders) or in China (for China-fulfilled orders).

Do not ship items to any address shown on the website or packaging unless we confirm it in the RMA email. Returns sent to the wrong address may be refused or may not be eligible for a refund.

7) Return shipping costs

Non-defect returns (changed mind / ordered wrong model):

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Shipping charges (including any original outbound shipping cost, if applicable) are non-refundable.
  • For U.S.-fulfilled orders, we may offer a prepaid return label and deduct the label cost from your refund (where permitted by law).
  • For China-fulfilled orders, you will need to ship the item back using a trackable method at your own cost.

If your order originally qualified for “free shipping”, we may deduct the actual outbound shipping cost from the refund in cases of non-defect returns, where permitted by law.

8) Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of approval or rejection. If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Banks and card issuers may take additional time to post the refund.

9) Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account, then contact your card issuer, and then your bank. If you still need help, contact us at sales@youlumi.com.

10) Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged (same item/model). If you want a different model, please request a return (if eligible) and place a new order.

11) Timing & processing notes for cross-border returns

International return shipments may take longer due to carrier transit and customs processing. Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected. Please keep your tracking number and shipping receipt.

12) Important notes

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method and keeping your tracking number.
  • For high-value returns, consider shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt without tracking.
  • This policy does not affect any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
